Sony VPL-EW130 Eco Wide-Screen Projector

The VPL-EW130 offers a cost effective wide screen solution. With a light output of 3000 lumens this is an ideal projector to diplay todays wide screen PCs and High Definition video sources.

Delivering superb images and simple operation, Sony's VPL-EW130 projectors provide an excellent balance between performance and price, ideal for use in education or business. With a very affordable initial cost the VPL-EW130 is not only easy to buy but easy to keep. It has up to a 6000 hours lamp life depending on lamp brightness mode and power saving features in an easy to use “Eco-Mode” which reduces overall power consumption. Also a filter design that only requires maintenance when the lamp is changed thus making the VPL-EW130 easy care for.

  • Superb Image Quality & Rich Color Reproduction – A color bightness output of 3000 lumens and an oustanding contrast ratio of 2600:1. 12bit 3D Digital Gamma Correction reproduces gradation in greater detail. Film Mode technology generates high quality images through the Interlace to Progressive conversion processor. Signals of film-originated sources converted through 2-3 and 2- 2 pull down process are detected, resulting in extremely accurate image reproduction.
  • A Good Replacement – With a 1.3x optical zoom lens that gives a large throw ratio of 1.4 to 1.81, the EW130 offers a cost effective solution to replace old projectors. With this wide throw range many customers can upgrade from existing projectors using the same mounting point thus saving time and expense . No need to move mounts and make new cable runs.
  • TCO and ECO:
    - Replace lamps less frequently with a long lamp life of 3000/4500/6000H!
    - Save energy costs! With the push of the “Eco Mode” button on projector or Remote Commander, Lamp mode saves the consumption of lamp wattage; Power Saving mode kicks in if there is no operation for 10 minutes without any signal input; Standby mode can reduce power consumption in standby. “Eco Mode” button is also user-customizable providing parameter selection of Lamp mode, Power saving mode, and Standby settings.
  • Right Fit for Mid-sized rooms – With 3000 lumens brightness, 1W speaker, anti-theft bars and quiet operation, the VPL-EW130 is ideally suited for mid size class rooms and meeting rooms mid-sized rooms.
  • Other Convenience Features - closed captioning; digital zoom; picture muting, front ventilation, Off & Go, rich interfaces including Monitor Out, HDMI, discrete PC Audio Inputs, RCA Video Audio Input, RS232C control.
