Sony's LUMA™ series professional video monitor product line expands with the addition of the LMD-1530W 15-inch widescreen monitor. The LMD-1530W is an entry-level HD monitor that offers the best quality-per-cost balance for entry level applications such as HDV monitoring. The LMD-1530W is scheduled to be available by middle of June 2009.

The LMD-1530W is a 15-inch wide screen model with WXGA (1280x768) resolution and is replacing the LMD- 1410 and the LMD-1420. In addition to being offered as a replacement model to the LMD-1410 and LMD- 1420, the LMD-1530W features 16:9 display, higher resolution, HD signal capability, a standard HDMI input, and an affordable price. All of these features make the LMD-1530W a perfect solution for the video requirements of the HDV professional.
