Sony is pleased to introduce the XDCAM™ HD422 24P option products.

For the PDW-700 and PDW-HD1500, a Ver1.5 upgrade is planned to be available at the end of June 2009. This is a free of charge upgrade. This V1.5 upgrade must be installed prior to the 24P option installation. Once installed, the 23.98P record/playback function and installing the option keys, 23.98P record/playback capability of the PDW-700/PDW-HD1500 will be activated.

PDW-700 will have a 24P option:
CBKZ-FC02 24P record/playback software key SLP $4,550

PDW-HD1500 will have a 24P option:
PDBK-F1500 24P record/playback hardware key SLP $5,000

Both options are planned to be available at the end of June 2009.
