Kramer Electronics has announced the introduction of the VP-729 and VP-728 ProScale digital scaler/switchers. The VP-729 and VP-728 are 9-input scaler/switchers that establish a new level of price performance for the education, training, presentation, houses of worship and residential markets.

These new scaler/switchers incorporate Silicon Optix HQV (Hollywood Quality Video) processing technology which represents the state-of-the-art in video processing. With the HQV scaling technology, the VP-729 and VP-728 deliver the highest quality de-interlacing, noise reduction, and scaling performance available in the market today for both standard-definition and high-definition signals.

The VP-729 and VP-728 have significantly better image performance than the XL series through the incorporation of the Silicon Optix HQV technology. They also offer several user interface improvements derived directly from market feedback that enhance operational ease-of-use. The

VP-728 is a direct replacement for the VP-724xl. In addition to the VP-729 and VP-728, Kramer will soon be introducing many new exciting scaling products with HQV technology.
