Clear-Com CM-222 Tempest2400 2-Channel Digital Wireless Intercom
Tempest2400 is now available as a 2-audio channel, digital wireless intercom system that offers world-wide, license-free operation in the 2.4GHz band. A total of 10 Tempest2400 base stations and 50 Tempest2400 full duplex wireless beltstations can be operated on one system with no frequency coordination required. Tempest2400 Wireless Intercom System is ideal for indoors, outdoors and touring applications.
Wireless System Description and Features:
Up to 5 beltstations can access both intercom channels
Compatible with all major 2-wire and Matrix intercom systems
Capable of functioning in very high ambient noise environments with extremely high audio dynamics range (>94dB)
Unique to Tempest, patented RF architecture allows the system to co-exist with Wi-Fi networks.
Utilizes Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology to maintain the high possible voice audio quality
Enhanced with 2xTX technology that greatly increases audio intelligibility by significantly reducing the Effective Packet Error Rate
iSelect On Command Roaming to allow users to move from one coverage to another
Other base station features: Stage Announce, Unique GPIO Contact Closures, Remote Talk Kill and Auxiliary Input/Output
T-Desk Application (for monitoring and managing Tempest2400):
The Tempest Wireless Intercom System is supplied with T-Desk, a PC-based desktop application for monitoring and managing the equipment in a wireless network. Not only does T-Desk simplify the configuration and management process, it provides ultimate flexibility by allowing these functions to be performed from a remote location via a LAN (Local Area Network) connection. T-Desk allows a user to adjust critical base station or beltstation settings from the computer and only requires connection to your existing computer network.
